The more I watch my daughter these days, the more I think she's just a mini-grown-up trying to break free from this 14 month old body. Now that she's
clomping walking all over the place, I can just sit and watch her in wonder and awe, usually giggling hilariously. I cannot wait for her to start really talking because I just know she has some thoughts in there that she's dying to share...
Here are some pictures from last weekend. We went to a volleyball tournament and Heidi had a blast running back and forth in the bleachers.

And then she was worn out. Luckily we brought the lucky blanket around. So true that the babies pick their own lovey, you just can't force one on them. She has many tiny "lovey" blankies and animals, but this, the free afghan from the hospital, is
her blankie.

(She's faking it, can you tell!)

They say that they grow up too fast. It's true of course. But man, it's so fun being their parents while they grown. Watching her turn into a little person is the best part of my day.
