Most infants, toddlers even, probably start off with the "mamamamamamama."
Most probably don't go directly from that to "mom."
Plain old "mom."
I've explained to Heidi that at the tender age of 11 months, I'd prefer her to call me "mama" or "mommy." But no dice. "Mom" it is.
I'll take it.
